My name is Richard.

I live in the North of England, in a small market town called Haltwhistle and work in elderly care. I don’t really have any hobbies, unless you count this as one, but I do have a wide range of interests that include:- travel, reading, music, theatre & cinema.

Since everyone else appears to have a web page these days, I decided to have a go myself and see what I could come up with. This site is the result!

The main purpose behind it’s conception is that it should, primarily, be a platform for my family history pages, where information about the four family groups

Collins, Hulse, Franklin & Grocutt

can be posted, and then accessed by others. In doing this, I hope that other people, who are researching their own family tree’s, might find some common links which they could share with me and, thereby, help me to expand my own knowledge base.

It is envisaged that this site will be something of an ongoing project, and will contain a variety of subjects which can be accessed via the interface on the left, or through links on the individual pages.

Whilst, at times, I may provide links to other, related, sites, it is not intended that this should become a page that is simply full of links, that will take you to places where you don’t want to go.
